They're great. Book as object, indeed. I'm actually suprised that more publishers haven't picked up on this. McSweeny's, sure, but really, how much Mcsweeny's can one human being take?

These are great. Book as object, indeed. If I were a CEO at a major publishing company I'd have a whole department checking in to this kind of stuff.

The Bukowski editions come with the book pre-soaked in bourbon-laced vomit and actual cigarette butts pressed between the pages.

Clever, although it's going to create another example of the McSweeney's Conundrum: too creative and awesome to throw away, too fragile and irreplaceable to lend out, but won't fit on your bookshelf for crap.
