And in other news, America won the America's Cup race yesterday for the first time in 15 years. Yay!

Re: MS - Generally speaking, the more profitable a company is and the more employees a company has, its tax rate should go down due to the fact that all its employees are paying taxes as well as spending into the local economy. It's time to start incentivizing success.

Dems betraying gay people in Iowa? Big surprise. Using the bible to take away people's rights? Who's next? Because if you really believe they will stop at gays you haven't paid attention in history class.

I predict that Hillary Clinton will launch a primary challenge to Barack Hussein Obama, and Bayh will be waiting in the wings to be her running mate once she wins the nomination.

And she will win, because there is no way that Barry Soetoro, our Marxist homosexual usurper can get elected dog catcher at this point, given his record free fall in the polls.

Nevertheless, no one will beat Sarah in the general, because she is on a path of destiny.

re:Stabbing.

Don't look now but Seattle has become a barbaric violent thirdworld hellhole.

Your four courageous Democrats in Iowa see which way the winds are blowing....
7
gotta love that Democratic party. Tax hikes for all of us, and most of all for the poor!

And tax breaks for microsoft!

Who says we're elitist?
8
who carries $500 in cash in Capitol Hill?

Bayh Bayh...
who would have thought?

A year ago we were
intoxicated by electoral success
and sitting on huge majorities in Congress
and full of Hope for Change-
now Democrats are retiring in droves,
NOTHING has been passed in Congress,
the War grinds on,
Guantanamo is open,
Federal policy on Gays is UNCHANGED....

Some of us tried to tell you
Obama was too inexperienced-
even Palin mocks our "hopey changey..."

Is State Rep. Ross Hunter aware that Microsoft has been shifting jobs from Washington to China in an effort to avoid paying higher wages? Microsoft doesn't deserve any fucking tax breaks until they start shifting those jobs back to Washington state. Their last round of layoffs was a smoke screen to shift even more jobs overseas.

Stop rewarding this bullshit behavior.

"Iowa, Kenya—Like Peas in a Pod"

Excuse me? Dominc dearest, let's think this one out, shall we?

I live in Seattle. My mom lives in a dreary little town called Council Bluffs, in the most backward part of the state of Iowa. So backward, it's practically Omaha.

Yet, I could walk into the Pottawatomie County Courthouse (Main and 5th, in downtown Council Bluffs) and get myself a gay marriage certificate. To marry a gay. Legally and officially. Today (if I were there, which I'm glad I'm not - they have like four feet of snow on the ground and it's cold as hell there)

Could I do that here in Seattle?

And it's only four Democrats, (although I'm surprised the one from Grinnell crossed over).

As far as the Laurelhurst bombing goes, you don't suppose the George Jackson Brigade (look it up, darlings) is reinventing itself, do you?

@2: "It's time to start incentivizing success."

Yeah, the company that has produced some of the greatest personal fortunes in the world for its founders as well as a host of lesser millionaires really needs to step it up in the incentive department. What possible reason could they have to stay in business if the residents of the bankrupt state they're based in don't hand them sacks of cash just for existing?

11/Catalina, good post. It's more like "Saudi Arabia, Iran, Kenya and Uganda—Like Peas in a Pod"
14
@2 Yep. Those MS employees in China are making sure that the Chinese government can loan us all sorts of money.

Africa... it's really difficult to give a shit about you.

Please wait...
