Now I only need cash for cover at bars, buskers, homeless people, and prostitutes.
2
WHAT
3
Hm, I may actually dine at Than Brothers more often.

@1, your other, um, vendors need to get with the program. Chop, chop!

"It is the perfect solution for on-the-go merchants who bring their products and services directly to their customers."
5
In addition to Pho, they will be selling credit cards? Awesome!
6
I wish my dealer would take credit card for my monthly supply of "products" I need to have a good time.
7
WOAH!
8
weeeeeeird!!
9

Pho is mostly good or bad, but it's rarely "The Best".
10
My world is askew!
11
nooo wayyyyy
12
I totally want to get a THAN BROS. branded credit card! Tha's great! Will there be, like, a discount for buying their pho on their credit card? Kinda like there's a 1% discount on REI purchases using their plastic?
13
That's great! Too bad for them that I eat most of my pho at Pho Cyclo nowadays. I miss the cream puffs, but not the lack of bun.

There is nothing worse than hearing foodies rave about pho. Wait, I take that back - when foodies ironically incorporate trash food into cuisine, that's more obnoxious. But foodies raving about pho is right up there. It's noodles, people. Stop trying to compliment the f out of it. Not that i'm saying anyone commenting here is obnoxious, but that's what debates about "the best pho" always bring back flashbacks of - foodies pretentiously debating the best pho. Blech.
15
the west seattle than bros. shop has been taking credit cards for the better part of a year now.
16
Hey you are only two months late to notice. Must be a slow new day?

1. @11 Pho isn't about noodles, it's about the broth (the aroma, body and quality of which can greatly vary) and what's served in the pho (veggie wise) that may slightly alter the flavor of the broth. I've done without the noodles many a time when feeling a little big under the weather, the broth is amazing.

2. For me, it isn't the end of an era until Thai Tom starts accepting cards. Unless they have already, I just always pay with cash and will continue to do so because credit card charges on businesses (especially on small charges, in small-ish businesses) can still be ridiculous.

Please wait...
