If you look on twitter you will see that sites like TPM and Think Progress are the ones reporting on this. I don't see a whole lot of tax protesters chiming in yet. I don't even see a lot of politically right leaning sites reporting in at all.
@7: Just because it turned out to be non-hazardous doesn't mean that it was not placed there with the intent to instill fear. A fake bomb may be non-hazardous, but planting one in the stairwell of a government building will still get you in all sorts of trouble.
@9: Did they? The way I heard it, it was an obvious attempt BY THE PRO-PROP 8 PEOPLE to implicate the anti-Prop 8, pro-equality people. The FBI agreed that there was zero evidence to link the incidents to opponents of Proposition 8. So no, not really an attack.
@11: There's no reason to believe that the IRS sent themselves fake anthrax, like there was with the Mormon churches in the case you mentioned. Let's see how this plays out.
Also, you are a moronic twit. Just putting that out there.
Ooh it must have been the teabaggers! Of course you guys know the guy who flew his plane into the IRS building was a registered Democrat, right?
What's also very interesting is that liberals will bend over backwards to accomodate terrorists who are actually killing people and insist we must have "made them that way" and we need to appease them. Yet if people here at home are angry at that same government, they must be looney.
an unknown substance that turned out not to be hazardous was found.
oh- so Dan has evidence linking this ATTACK to somebody?
