oh, naive, trusting dan. it will take so much more than that.

Hey! I put in a half-bottle of Xanax anly to come away with 3 Benedryl?

We've already come a lot further than I ever thought I'd see in my lifetime. Medical marijuana is legal in a fair number of places, and pot has been "decriminalized" in many other places. If you had told me back in the 70s that I'd see that happen, I never would have believed you.

Was that supposed to be "only" or "anally" @2?

Remember, must Drug Warrior writers are married to or sleeping with cops or prison guards who depend on the Drug War to pay their bills.

Wow Dan you're even more full of shit than usual- did you grow a third lung that lets you increase your fecal holding capacity?

The San Francisco Chronicle has carefully and thoroughly documented the "Pharm Party" tsunami engulfing the nation.

In fact they have a regular feature,
the "Pharm Party Watch"
where they report on the phenomenon.

That's right, every week they Google the Nets and find 3 or 4 "Pharm Parties" taking place right here in America.
Or maybe sometimes in Australia.
Or Timbuktu....

All of them gulping Fistfuls of Pills.
Or at least using hard drugs.
Or maybe having a couple of beers...

Didn't you know it is a tsunami engulfing the nation?

It's frightening!

Pull your head out of your ass, already...

I want to know how often these "journalists" smoke pot themselves.

(must == most)

1. Build a time machine.
2. Go back in time and find the parents of William Randolph Hearst.
3. Help them "vanish", possibly into a river somewhere.*
4. Come back to the present.
5. Toke up.
6. Say woot.

* If you're too squeamish, you can simply keep them from meeting at the Enchantment Under the Sea Dance.

The hysteria about drugs is absurd, and the war on drugs is even more absurd. The drugs are not the problem, it's the people that can't manage their "recreation" in moderation.

When I was in college, I tried and partied with just about everything that didn't involve a needle. Booze and pot. Booze and acid. Booze and Ecstasy/MDMA. Booze and meth. And yet, managed to graduate with a 3.23 GPA and go on to become a VP at a Bank. I'm beyond those days of fun now, but wouldn't change it for anything.

People are going to do drugs, and they're never going to just disappear. But the money we keep throwing at ending it accomplishes nothing, yet disappears all too easily.

What about every last drug war propagandist currently employed at a weekly paper? Based on the comments thread on Grant's "Faces of Meth" post, that would mean he'd be out of a job if you had your druthers.

What about "every last drug war propagandist currently employed at a weekly paper?" Because, if the comments thread on Grant's Faces of Meth post are any indication, that would require you to fire him.
13
Oh, Mr. Savage. When newspapers go, don't you think the propagandists will just go digital?
14
Stop saying M'kay.

Please wait...
