Do we really believe Hudson? Or is he just saying that because that's the way Baird is leaning? Perhaps I'm overly cynical, but I think Hudson is lying.

So Baird, if your testicles seem to be AWOL, and they do, at least follow the Roy fucking Ashburn moral code which says "give credence to what your constituents think they want [50/50]", colored by the fact that you're a goddamned Democrat, after all, further swayed by the fact that you're not up for re-election, cemented by the additional fact that a NAY vote puts you in the dustbin of history.

Scale tilts toward YEA.

Don't forget Adam smith, right next door in the 9th district. He's busy fence sitting too.

Washington D.C. Office (202) 225-8901

Tacoma, WA Office 1 (888) SMITH09 or (253) 593-6600

Will they listen to someone from out of state? Because if so, I'll call and also post the info for all of you to call another fence-sitter, Colorado's Betsy Markey.
5
I'm gonna go into the Vancouver office tomorrow! Wanna come? Haha.

Adam Smith is a fence-sitter? I heard he was a Yes.
6
you have to take him to a movie and a show first.
7
I actually believe this, because places like Camas and parts of Vancouver are in the 3rd CD, and many of the people there are tea-baggers, and even some of the Democrats are opposed.

CRAIG PRIDEMORE has already said he'd be a "yes" vote if he was in the House representing the 3rd District. But DENNY HECK, that has-been who you've pimping, won't say.

Yet here you are, Eli, demanding that Baird adopt a position that YOUR OWN STUPID CHOICE for this seat won't take.

I hope you feel at least a little bit like a schmuck, Eli, because that's just what you are.
9
@8, Mr. Baird is IN THE POSITION at the time the vote will be taken. Nothing any other potential candidate says will matter.
10
I do not live there so I won't call. I do however call my rep and senators regularly and hector them. I'll occasionally write letters too (snail mail).

Why does it seem like The Stranger has jumped on the "pass a bill, any bill" bandwagon? Perhaps one should learn about this bill before calling people to pass it.
