It wasn't that they lost that hurt. It was how they lost. All that poise, all the composure - gone in the blink of an eye. Oh well, thanks for the Cal game. Thanks for the Marquette game. Masterpieces both. Thanks for dominating New Mexico. The postseason that was never meant to be is over all too quickly.

Beating Steve Alford made it all worth it. The Dawgs ran into some grown ass men, I don't wanna hear UW fans talking shit about the Big East, that's what would happen every night if the little boy Dawgs played in the Big east.
3
Big East. That;s the conference that had one of eight teams make it past the round of 16, right?
4
What are the Huskies doing on Blog?

Shouldn't you be posting about some book reading or hipster coffee shop?

5
SOUNDERS ! SOUNDERS! SOUNDERS!

oh, are the Huskies playing?

never mind

SOUNDERS!

This was not a good night, with both the Huskies and Syracuse losing in ugly games.

@2: The Big East is a joke. Can't beat Ohio or St Mary's. And Louisville and Marquette both lost to Pac-10 teams. The Big WEAK!!!

Not to nitpick, but they just played in the Regional Semifinals. They didn't make it to the Regional Final.

If the Dawgs play in the Big East they'd be playing in the NIT. Q is the 2nd best player in the Pac 10, dude would be a scrub in the Big East.

Completely Unranked, winning the Pac-10 Tourney, dismantling a National #6 (New Mexico) and making it to the final 16 in the entire country as an 11 seed? There isn't all that much to complain about.

Lets not forget that as a number 1 seed a few years ago, and nationally ranked, they didn't advance past the sweet 16 either.
12
that scrub in the Big East hit the game winning shot that sent a Big East team packing for home last weekend

Basehead@10: On a per-team average the Pac-10 has far more players in the NBA than the Big East does. In fact the Pac-10 has more players in the NBA on per-team average than any other conference.

UCLA would've won the Big East this year.

@10. I guess they just all had bad weeks in the tourney, huh? Too bad...you'd think they could get up for that.
15
dude, placing 11th is pretty damned good.

No matter how you slice it.

Please wait...
