Ugh - I can get into a good academic debate, I really can. I can understand that this will get the constitutional scholars all wet. But I can't separate that from the fact that what they're debating directly affects my ability to be both financially and physically healthy.

And I think it's easy for the people involved to forget that they're literally playing with people's lives, as melodramatic as that sounds, because it's all wrapped up in constitutionality and health care strategies and insurance - it's not right there in the name like when you debate, oh, the death penalty.

Eli: I was actually thinking that this lawsuit might open the door to the public option/single payer. Because then people would not have to buy from a privet entity, they could buy from the federal government. Thoughts?
