The Left has Plenty of know-nothing empty suits.
They just don't have any that can fire up the base....
2
Bachman-Palin Overdrive is overdue.
3
Palin as President would be progressive: first retarded woman head of state!
4
Yes there is. Barak Obama! We love him. He's a can do president. He's saved the economy, health care and our reputation after all three were left in ruins by "conservative values" which are nothing more than ignorance and selfishness. Palin is a loser and she will allways be a loser and Bachmann is a raving lunatic. I hope the Republicans are stupid enough to choose them And I think they are!
5
I just really don't get this mindset, this 'bring conservative values back' crap. Um, excuse me? Itawamba County, anyone? Conservative "values" haven't GONE ANYWHERE, they're alive and kickin all OVER the damn place.

And if somebody is just desperate to live their life in accordance with 'conservative values', by all means, do so! No one is stopping you! The problem comes in when the conservos attempt to cram their religious-based anti-freedom "values" down the throats of everyone else - THAT'S the fucking problem, people, not the made-up "fact" that your precious 'conservative values' are under attack.

They aren't. Not at all. And you're an idiot and an alarmist and, frankly, anti-American when you bray on and on that they are.

Sheesh.

"Saved the Economy"?

good one.

Is it the 10% unemployment and 17% underemployment you like best or the looming $19 TRILLION in debt or the fact that Social Security is now paying out more than it takes in?

And, what exactly has our "seved reputation" gotten for us?
Other than Baracks Peace Prize....
7
Um...Why do they keep calling her Governor Palin? She quit, she no longer gets that title.

But I really do hope those two morons run. I'll keep marshmallows handy for when they crash and burn.
8
My hope remains that Palin will successfully split the Repugnican party.
9
"breaking the barrier"? I'm pretty sure the barrier to which you are referring was actually broken in 1984 by Geraldine Ferraro. I would kinda expect a woman who is a sitting member of the House to at least be vaguely familiar with that fact.
10
@7: You took the words out of my mouth. I throw up a little in my mouth each time I hear that dimwit referred to as "Governor".

If there's any doubt that there's a dangerous crowd of batshit crazy crowd out there, this video proves it.

Also, Bachmann appears to be just as ignorant regarding American history as her counterpart. Palin was NOT the first to break through the female vice presidential candidate "barrier". It was Geraldine Ferraro who ran in 1984 with Walter Mondale.
11
Ooops @9. I wasn't saddlebacking on your comment regarding Geraldine Ferraro... really. You just beat me to it! LOL
12
What is Ralph Nader? Chopped liver?

Not to mention Christopher Hitchens when he's drinking. Or Dan Savage when he's committing voter fraud, breaking and entering or sneaking fake guns where he shouldn't. Or Bill Mahr when he's ranting that we should invade Iraq to teach Muslims about the rule of law. And then there's Dennis Kucinich and our own Jim McDermott.

We have lots of Sarah Palins. We're all a little Sarah Palin, if you think about. Just we don't all make such a big to do about it when we fuck up like she does.

I'll be the left's Sarah Palin if nobody else will. Call wardrobe.
13
@1: According to a recent poll, 51% of likely voters say they would be less likely to vote for a candidate if Palin campaigned for them.

Fired up and ready to vote no!
14
@12: Yes, comparing yourself to Sarah Palin is very appropriate. I'm glad you've finally said something that makes sense.
15
BC @13: That's probably true. But then again, Obama's not exactly batting a thousand either.
16
5280, he's a president not a baseball player.

You're such a silly billy.
17
You homosexuals just can't grasp how totally hot the whole 'sexy crazy' these gals ooze is....
18
@17: I'm straight as an arrow, and Palin and Bachmann come off more as "scary crazy" than "sexy crazy". Frankly, I'd rather date Michael Palin than Sarah Palin. And keep in mind, I'm a heterosexual male.
19
18 sure you are
20
@18,

Michael Palin is hottt, or at least he was in his salad days.
21
Actually wasn't the first female Vice-Presidential candidate Marietta Stow back in 1884? Ferraro was just the first candidate from one of the two major political guilds.
22
The best part was when Bachmann told Palin that the world was her oyster because of "tremendous support from the American people." When will American conservatives learn that the US is not the only nation on this planet?
23
"who matches what Palin’s got."

Meaning : A view of Russia from their home.
24
Guys vote for guys they'd like to have a beer with, but nobody votes for a MILF.

Not saying I don't want to see these dumb bastards run her again. The less Obama has to worry about in 2012 the more he can help win the downticket races.
25
Keith Olbermann's a blowhard, but I love that he calls Palin "former half-governor." It's more respect than she deserves.
26
@19: Oh sorry, do you not believe me because I forgot to say "No Homo"?

@22: Of course the world is her oyster; she's got the time and leisure to read not just one magazine, but "all of them". http://crooksandliars.com/2008/09/30/omg…

@23: Loveschild WIN.
AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! TEH SKY IZ FALLING!!!!1!! IT'S CATNAROK!!! LONGCAT AND TACGNOL ARE BATTLING!!! SUM1 CALL CEILING CAT!!!
27
Sarah Palin is a dumbed down more passive version of the hell bitch Ann Coulter. I hate them both, they both make women look bad.
28
24. Nicely said. Nobody votes for a GILF, you mean.

29
And all the people who would vote for them are right there!
30
@22 Remember when her publicist said the world is LITERALLY her oyster? Favorite.
31
I don't know about you, but I don't feel like I could vote for Bachman. She promised her supporters she'd slit her wrists over the HCR bill. And she hasn't done it.

I can't support a candidate who doesn't follow through on their promises.
32
Yes, Sean, Minnesota is a great state. Now will you please get the fuck out of here and leave us alone, 'cause you're bringing us down just with your presence. And take that fucking Gorgon with you.

And, honestly, I used to like my governor, but he's fallen into line with all the shithole conservatives.
33
Oh, hey, Jo4. I'm a hetero male into crazy/sexy, and crazy/sexy these two petrifying horrors aren't. They are what is known as boner-killing stupid. Especially since Bachmann looks like she lives in a cave and feeds on the entrails of her eviscerated victims. *Gollum!*
34
33 sure you are
35
@34: O ye of little faith...HURR DURR DERPA DERPA DOO
36
@26 I had the same reaction to 23....

Palin will run. And she will lose in the primary. And she will split off and form the conservative party. And it will be beautiful.
37
Kurt Vonnegut wrote in Slaughterhouse-Five in 1969 that Billy Pilgrim's wife Valencia had a "Ronald Reagan for President" bumper sticker on her Cadillac. He obviously couldn't think of anything more outrageous (on a par with the "Impeach Earl Warren" bumper sticker Billy had on his own Cadillac, a gift from Valencia's father).

So remember Vonnegut when we're gape-mouthed at the Palin inauguration in 2020.
38
"there’s no anti-Palin progressive who matches what Palin’s got."

What does she bring to the table? Tits? Someone tell Maria Cantwell to get implants.

Please wait...
