I don't really know diddly squat about security for CEOs of huge companies. Paul Bobby, can you write something about it to help me understand?
2
Well deserved organization. So can you please move on and not have Amazon be your subject every other day? Books Paul. Let's talk about books.

It's nice that Amazon gave back something, but considering the profits the company is raking in, they really rank near the bottom of NW corporate citizens. I'll be much more impressed if this is the beginning of a comprehensive plan to begin stepping up to their responsibilities as a major corporate citizen.

The well of Amazon hate is getting really dry, huh?
6
@3, Amazon is making large annual profits now, but they are still not profitable overall from their beginning.
7
Seriously. if you are going to be spending your time going after corporations, Amazon should be toward the bottom of your list. May I suggest some HMOs or military contractors, etc etc.Get some perspective Smartypants.

Let me guess, if this was apple the snide comment would be absent.

Your amazon hate borders(haha) on silly.
9

Amazon, as with every other corporation on earth, has absolutely zero obligation to "give" anything back to anyone other than its shareholders. That they donated money to something as progressive as LLF is commendable. I mean, think of it this way: Someone who bought a Glenn Beck or Sarah Palin book through Amazon inadvertently contributed some of their money to this donation. That is some rich delicious irony right there.

Is this the first time that Amazon has given a chunk of change to an LGBT group? If so, that's big news...

nice to hear amazon gave to a foundation.
