Thanks, @9, @3 already corrected me, I responded to him, and he responded back. And it *does* look like FSM larvae! Wonder what the babies will look like - I guess they'll be nestbound spaghettini until they get their adult pasta . . .
Chocolate cake with spaghetti icing (if the icing is cream cheese frosting) with a raspberry sauce actually sounds really, really yummers.
Sorry, but I do love me a good piece of cake, every now and then. Not something I indulge in daily, but when I do, I enjoy and savor every delicious bite.
Geez, if you're going to steal my recipe, at least get the instructions right:
Spaghetti and meatball cake is a great novelty item for a party or a pot luck if you get stuck furnishing the dessert. You make a standard layer cake, preferably white or yellow, but chocolate isn't all that unusual either, with strawberry or raspberry preserves between the layers.
spread white frosting on the sides, and on the top, you press the white frosting through a patato ricer while moving it slowly around the top of the cake, which makes the top frosting look like spaghetti. Then add a small puddle of preserves on the top to represent sauce and a few Ferrer Roche hazelnut chocolates to represent meatballs!
Something should be named anenome, it's easier to say.
I just lost my appetite
And the thing pictured is obviously a hatch of Flying Spaghetti Monster larvae.
The Original.
