Didn't Baconcat once say how predicting outcomes from current polls is like predicting what he'll be eating for breakfast Thursday next week?
2
Don't you mean Murray vs. Rossi polling?

@2: Woah. Yes, I did. Sorry. Brain went on vacation early. Fixed and thanks.

@4: And that story at Publicola mirrors the one posted 2 minutes prior to it on the P-I and about 17 hours prior to even that, the original story of the poll broke on the Times.

OH MY GOD, INFORMATION FREELY FLYING AROUND THE INTERNET!!

@1:

I don't know about Baconcat, but I can tell you pretty precisely what I'll be having for breakfast next Thursday: a cup of plain, non-fat yogurt with high-fiber cereal and a piece of fruit, most likely either a pear or an apple.

Based on my own predictable future breakfast-consumption, I'll go out on a limb and say now that Rossi, having looked at the polling results and being at least smart enough to know when not to throw good money after bad, will quietly exit the race right around the filing deadline, all the while insisting that he was never in it to begin with; which may turn out to be the truest statement he's ever uttered.

Just for that, I'm buying him some bacon.
