You just like her because of the Daily Show.

Actually, I don't think she was that funny on the Daily Show. I think she really shines when she's telling stories about people she loves, because then she is both funny and humane. On the Daily Show, her humor always seemed to me a bit forced.

I was already a fan, but I might have not heard about it if it weren't for Slog. And yes, it was fucking awesome.
