Turns on a race course make it more fun? What a concept!! I'm waiting for the day when dumbass NASCAR fans realize that their race tracks are straight lines for all practical matters. The banking on NASCAR tracks is so extreme that a driver practically doesn't have to turn the steering wheel to make a turn.
Imagine driving a straight line course over and over and over... BORING!

@6 -- NASCAR is an endurance sport. Imagine if most of the US preferred to watch a marathon versus sprints and hurdles.
