Can't we just get rid of the ones that work on arresting, trying, and jailing people for MJ use first?

That might make it easier.

So no one who is already trained could be hired instead? Or is the job of a sheriff so complicated that it costs more to train one than a college education?

But...but... if we had layoffs there wouldn't be any extra police to witness & report the "bad egg" police beating the mexican piss out of suspects...

70 does sound like a lot though. Maybe 35 are wasting their time with contempt of cop & drug charges, but I'm sure at least a few are working on importing yet annoying property crimes. It'd be sad to devolve to police only having the resources to respond to violent crimes.

@3 - yeah, but the ones working on property crimes are probably doing so outside of Seattle (cause we have SPD) so we can cut them loose too.

The suburbs need to man up. I reckon they gots enuf guns to form a posse, y'all.

Can we layoff some more of them? KC Sheriff is about the most useless bunch of crooks around.

Please wait...
