OT, but it's amazing to me that people are paid to dress in awful but costly suits, sit in rooms like that, and listen to people like that say stuff like that.

SCREAM!!! I laughed enough to startle the pets in the house.

Bless you for not asking anyone to sit through the first 29 minutes.

It did sound like there was a murmur in the audience after hearing the phrase.
5
so.. . this guy is a fan of yours dan?
6
success!

Seriously? Seriously!?!?

That...so made my day. To be fair, the Cato Institute has pretty unambiguously come out in favor of gay marriage, so I'd imagine they had quite a bit of fun with the Rekers story.

Oh, the libertarians love Dan, oddly enough, because he's what you might call the country's foremost "sexual libertarian". Megan "I believe government-run healthcare will eventually kill more people than Iraq" McArdle even cited him approvingly a few months back: http://www.theatlantic.com/national/arch…

can somebody please explain what's this is about, for those of us unable to listen?

This libertarian loves ya, too, Dan!

That audio and these comments lift my luggage!
12
that's hilarious!!!
13
Brilliant.

I don't know why anybody at all familiar with the Cato Institute would be surprised by this; Tom Palmer frequently writes for the Advocate and used to write for the Blade, and it's an open secret that he and David Boaz select prospective male employees there largely on how attractive they find them.

Bravo, Dan!
