The Shape of Things to Come

It is irritating that it is cheaper to buy a paperback than a digital book. Other than typesetting, which should be stored after initial publishing, there is very little production cost and shipping cost. Plus, I can resell a paperback if I want, or donate it. I love old mysteries, and have a nice paperback collection, but can't get most of them in digital form. Hopefully there will eventually be a tiered pricing structure to reflect hardcover, paperback and midline books.
@1 nah. We've been using paper for so long we even replaced the woven reeds with pulped/soaked reeds, and then with skin and MJ fibers.

Give it until 2200.

Besides, you need something to throw at the cat ...
