I agree.

Let's locate these in the suburbs, so that we can have more inefficient modes of travel and create jobs elsewhere than Seattle.

And use the money we save on construction to build free racks of fixies throughout the city for all the unemployed to use.

Please point me to the part of my post that advocates not building this, in Seattle or elsewhere. I believe "massive" is an appropriate, non-judgmental term for 7 and 8 story buildings. Or do you just HAVE to have the first comment on every Slog post that you don't bother concerning yourself with actually reading the post?- LP

I have to walk by the barking lounge daily, I'll be happy when that sidewalk no longer smells overwhelmingly like dog urine.

no, "massive" means hulking buildings with no articulation, which is disallowed by code, and clearly not the case with these illustrations.

the Wilsonian on the Ave. is 65' TALL. is it "massive", with it's classical detailing and courtyard?

"biomedical juggernaut" is entirely appropriate, though.

Massive means EMPT.

But it does bring in the question of when we're going to build more substations so the power grid doesn't go out ...

Please wait...
