Reminds me (based on the description) of that Robert McCammon novel with an OSS (I think) spy behind German lines in WW2 that was a werewolf.

Oh boy, what an unfortunate title for the Heather Lende book. Her first book -- If You Lived Here I'd Know Your Name -- had a nicely descriptive title and was a pleasure to read. Even so, I'm not sure I can handle Take Good Care of the Garden and the Dogs. It sounds yet another iteration of Chicken Soup For the Soul. Ugh.

Yeah, Blood Oath's twist isn't much of a twist. It's pretty much right there on the cover. Also, isn't that the logo for some 80's-90's punk record label, the whole bat/presidential seal thing?

I will admit to reading some of Blood Oath at Barnes & Noble and it's at least as good as it is dumb.
