@20 There were several points where she says "this description sounds like it took a long time but really it happened very fast." I've been sexually pressured in real life...and sometimes it can go on for a long time if you try a bunch of ways of getting out of the situation without getting hurt and none of them work right away. Sometimes you get lucky and finally get out okay with just a story that no one believes. I didn't see any "erotica" in this story. Am I the only liberal who found any of this even slightly plausible? @18- what you said. This isn't a honest rape victim's testimony. To see what that looks like, read the grand jury transcript from the Roman Polanski case. This is a woman who is imagining what it might be like to be raped, based on media depictions. Since she is not talented as a writer, her composition reads like a scene from a trashy web fic.

Since she has zero evidence and an obvious ulterior motive (money) there is no way in hell she's going to get a conviction. Most likely it won't even go to trial. Innocent until proven guilty- and there's nothing even remotely resembling proof here.

Of course, there is a possibility- there's always a possibility- that she is telling the truth, albeit with some embellishment due to the length of time passed between the incident and the telling. In that case I feel sorry for her, but at the same time- you can't wait two months before going to police, fail to follow up for three years, and only then make a statement, and expect to get a conviction or even have people believe you. You just can't.
