"Both Ways Dave" must be stolen directly from "Both Ways Bob," meaning onetime Rep. Bob Beauprez, Republican nominee for Colorado governor in 2006 who's campaign implosion was all the more spectacular because he was thought to be a sure thing. He earned the label during a contentious challenge from another Republican who ultimately failed to reach the primary ballot, and his unknown Democratic opponent was able to beat him over the head with it on his way to a landslide victory.
"Both Ways Bob" has a great ring to it. "Both Ways Dave" sounds garbled and comes across as contrived. It won't stick.
Net neutrality, huh? Unfortunately you're average moron on the street doesn't have any clue about net neutrality and doesn't give a shit. They are too dumb to realize the significance until it's too late, and then they bitch and gripe -- probably at the techies who had nothing to do with it -- about the aftereffect but ultimately just suck it up as "the new way of things".
And no doubt a large portion of those people in tech-exec-heavy 8th who know what net neutrality is are fervently against it.
