of course you guys arn't talking about the liability cap. i mean, why should bp research clean up the spills if the federal government is waiting by with their army corp of engineers?

This is information, facts, etc. He could easily put it out there without jeapardizing his precious political capital which he seems to not want to use enuf to stop job losses, keep democrats in office, or bring about change.

My god. This is the hugest enviro disaster and the biggest object lesson in the evils of corporations and special itnerests and the need for government and he's pretty listless about it all.

I think he spends more time wondering if it's "whose ass I should kick" or "the ass of whom should be kicked" or "the person of whose ass I should kick" with the subjunctive mood used there?

He's totally the subjunctive mood folks, he's above it all, 15 million don't have jobs and he isn't putting them to work on clean up in the Gulf? Take fucking 10 billion out of the fucking 20 billion and fucking create some fucking green jobs fucking now, dude.

If BP is a joke, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal is a bigger one. I just got off the phone with his office. For all their crying about how little the federal government is doing, they don't seem to be doing anything at all themselves. They appear to have no one working with them independently on the oil spill. No one in the Governor's office, no one in their Emergency Preparedness office. They just refer callers to BP, and don't even have any contact numbers for the purpose.

I submitted this suggestion to the EPA a few weeks back, got rejected, and other than the crappy drawing quality, am not sure why it was rejected.
