Was that Glenn Beck book trailer thing for reals? (also, when did books start getting their own trailers?)

Whatever it was, it was amazingly strange and in-your-face. I half expected it to end with an atomic explosion, which actually would have been pretty sweet.

I read the first chapter of Glen's book at a family gathering. The main character wanting to bang hot chick interested me, then I started yawning when the "Li-buh-rahls will bring thah a-pah-kah-lips" talk started. Apparently, Glen comes in two flavors: 'Horny' and 'Paranoid'.

For those who can actually read and think, I recommend Howard Zinn's People's History of the United States.

I am truly disgusted by conservatives' belief that they have a monopoly on what is American.

@4: I think I might be more disgusted in the politicians who are only too willing to encourage their jingoism for their own benefit. But only by a little.

If countries are to get the leaders that they truly deserve then in 2012 Palin/Beck will win in a landslide.
