That's nice, but where did all that black space the universe is in come from, and how did that come into being? Put another way, if you go to the end of the universe, will you fall off and, if so, into what? Where did that "what" come from and how long ago? Of course if those questions are answered, we will than need to know what contains the "what" the universe is in and when and how that began and on and on and on...
The reason it's purple is because if it was rendered with microwave "light", you'd see absolutely nothing.
