Republicans are basically pieces of shit these days. Long gone are moderate Republicans like Eisenhower and Nixon and, yes, even Reagan.

There are two types of Republicans left -- religious nuts who vote for whatever their dogmatic church tells them to (even though it destroys our constitution) and anti tax nuts who vote against all sane regulations and taxes (even though it destroys our nation).

The coward George Bush Jr invaded Iraq under false pretense, had no plan once we got there and never paid for any of it. He just added it to the national debt and gave it to our grandchildren to pay off.

In fact, for the first time in our history, taxes were CUT at a time of war.

We have become a third rate nation. If we had acted like this during WWII we would have lost.

I have to say though that #3 summed it up. Voter's don't look into these complex back and forth exchanges that show the true position and experience of the candidates. I am glad Murray got the better of the exchange but I was never going to vote for Rossi anyway.

I'll vote for anyone who isn't Patty Murray. Her voting record is 100% anti-constitution and anti-freedom. Dino might be too liberal to be a Republican, but he is still going to be much better than Patty Murray. Patty will be the first to side with Republicans if they want to destroy our freedom such as with the USA PATRIOT Act and she's never seen a new tax or spending bill that she didn't like regardless to how outrageous it may be.

The photo was taken at the 2008 Cancer for College 'Taste to Educate' event at MOHAI. The charity founder is a friend of Will Farrell, so he flew up to Seattle (in the middle of filming a movie in LA) for the event. The charity provides funds for college students with cancer to continue their education during/after treatment.

About 2/3rds of the way through the event in comes Dino, with personal photographer in tow. He basically barged his way past the kids, grabbed Will Farrell and had his photo guy start shooting. I distinctly remember the 'game face' look that Mr. Farrell put on after being accosted. Dino spent all of 15 minutes at the event, and essentially zero time with the scholarship winners.
