Sounds like simple bribery to me. Levi was shopping his book around, and found no takers. Sarah probably offered a sum of money tied to a non-disclosure agreement.
Does it really make a difference? Palin's fans are the only people who take her seriously, and they think she walks on water, so they never believed him anyway.
I would bet the book deal was something of an extortion attempt in the first place. Legal of course since he probably intended to make the book if the Palin family offered less than a publisher.
Maybe Levi's smart enough to realize he can fight the crazy old bitch for the rest of his life, with no chance of winning, or he can get on with the real business of raising his child.
@8 Thanks a lot pal. Some of us are at work and planning to watch the game when we get home. And we figured that if we news sites, and sports sites, and the radio, we could stay unspoiled. If this were a fucking soccer comment thread I would have stayed out of it. What the fuck does that have to do with the post?
Oops, sorry sir or madam @9, but I think random sites like Slog are not your friend if you insist on surfing the net around the time the internationally important match is set to be over that you're 'carefully' observing a blackout on. C'mon. If you need to avoid news of huge global events STAY OFF THE NET. See also, Jen's post above.
