The only contract City Council or the Mayor should sign is one that says we are only responsible for cost overruns for things we build.
Which means the Sea Wall, but not the Billionaires Tunnel and the resulting probably $10,000 per household - renter or homeowner - that will occur for every Seattle resident due to that.
That we have the Governess and members of the City Council arguing that there won't be overruns should be all we need to hear. If that's the best they can do: assert a patently false premise, then their position is completely untenable.
