When there is an economic downturn and lots of individuals and families are hurting, I don't want a governor whose first thought is, "How can my friends and I make money off people's inability to make a good decision?"
The guiding philosphy that believes helping the greedy and already wealthy makes a better society is not one I want in a leader, even though it isn't illegal.
I am quite aware that people who don't understand how the lack of financial oversight created the current economic depression will continue to support the same politicians who demand a lack of financial oversight.
I feel the ad is ineffective. They needed to come right out and state "Dino Rossi does seminars that help people get rich off foreclosed families and children (and fuzzy kitties)."
As it is, the ad is an annoying and non-linear series of hints and semi-reveals that don't add up to a coherent narrative, let alone indictment.
Nice idea, and the gotcha scene in the interview is classic, but the punch is muted because unless you'd read about the issue, it's not clear what the issue is from the ad...
Hmm, yeah, could use more kittens mewling after being tossed out on the sidewalk in a box next to a Sold To Foreclosure Scamster sign with some sad kids next to it.
