Considering that there's already a black caucus, I don't think this is any crazier than anything else they do. Got a splinter group, get a caucus.

Sorta odd that all the members of the Tea Party Caucus appear to be Republicans. Wouldn't a real political party hold its own convention, field its own candidates, write its own platform, etc?

Not sure you can use the term "brainchild" with Bachmann - clearly there is no fertile ground for a child to grow. Her ideas would have to fall under spontaneous brain abortions... of course, the Republicans don't approve of those.
