Let none doubt the power of an alt-weekly in your pocket.
2
@1 Yeah, or doubt the power of having the Seattle Times and powerful business interests against you?

The public isn't as stupid as some make them out to be, and this is a tiny piece of evidence of that.
3
Exactly, Joe.

If the Council and Gov keep this up, they're going to create a firestorm that will remove a lot of incumbents and create an even more radicalized electorate that will start voting down ballot issues that they depend on Seattle to pass.

You play with fire and try to screw Seattle with a Billionaires Tunnel we don't want - you get burned.
4
Exactly, Joe. And Will. And Joe. And Will. And so forth.
5
Wow! 45% approval. Heck of a job Mcginn!
6
45% approval is just proving who popular he is?

Dom, Dom, Dom..still holding out for that job in City Hall aren't you?

Trends, people.

7 points in three months on highly inflammatory rhetoric and back and forth is an amazing gain. This includes the "career killing" panhandling bill flap and the tunnel and the nightlife initiative.

Sinking ships and all that with Cato, giffy, MrBaker, kk and kinison, all squeaking and scurrying. You are being proven wrong and it's fucking delightful to me.

@6 better than the last three Presidents.

This is a war. A war for Seattle's soul against the Millionaires and Billionaires who think we Citizens of Seattle are their serfs. Or carhops.

Just wait until McGin, the idiot, faces the next election. If you think the guy who wanted to unleash drunks on the neighborhoods all night is going to get a second term, you will be sorely disappointed. Just watch the loser get sent back to the frathouse that he came from.

Please wait...
