This is exactly like Harlan Ellison's 'performance' in the '70s. I think it's good to do this for the internet-have-it-now generation. To quote Ellison, when asked why he set himself up in a storefront with a table and a typerwriter: "I wanted to show people that writing isn't some mystical mumbo-jumbo thing. It's work. Hard work. Just like any other job out there."
