So you're saying that God isn't in the machine, then?
2
Maybe the boy thought the Snuggle Bear was living in the dryer? Personally, I blame our capitalistic consumerism that killed him.

3
One life, in one small fragment of time, in a vast Multiverse. You underestimate the concept.

Good Morning Charles,
Yes, it's ghastly tragic and incomprehensible. Like this story:

Missing man crushed to death in NY trash compactor

By JENNIFER PELZ, AP

"A maintenance man at a prominent western New York office building was crushed to death after falling into a trash compactor, but no one realized it for weeks as his family and authorities searched for him, police said Sunday."

I don't think incidents like these disprove or prove there is a God in the universe. It does confirm there are eternal mysteries. Some of them most tragic and baffling. HOW these accidents happen are mind boggling.
5
Godlesness, or small defeat in the eternal battle between God and his righteous army against the forces of the devil and his evil horde? Or maybe this little boy needed to be called to heaven? See, I can draw stupid conclusions from random events too.
6
Charles,
BTW, you looked dashing and ebullient in the B & W photo of you by Chase Jarvis that was featured in Pacific Northwest Magazine in yesterday's Seattle Times.

You, hunk you.
7
I would like to add that I believe the U.N. says something like twenty four thousand children die everyday from preventable causes such as diarhea.
8
A consequence of the universe's benevolent Godlessness, perhaps...
9
Christians kill kids, too, Charles. http://www.newsweek.com/2009/07/07/trust…
10
Or else God just has a good sense of humor... at least the kid was dry.

Please wait...
