I can't quite reconcile "This is my prized possession" with "This is something that didn't exist until I made it myself eight hours ago." Especially paired with "This is an ice sculpture." How can an ice sculpture that a guy made in a single day be his prized possession? Can't he just make another one tomorrow?
(Of course, I suppose that's what the reporter was trying to ask when he shattered the thing.)
gloomy @ 7 has already linked to an interview which establishes that the thing was a set-up, which it obviously was. And yet people will continue to debate its authenticity. Weird.
