So, does this mean that New Jersey is better for art than New York?
2
Yes. NJ is better for everything.
3
Or, you could have written about Friday the 13th.

Cause it's ... today.

Even in NYC.

sure, fine for Almond Roca, but aww crap!!! that Chihuahua-ly thing.
gah.
5
new york~ the epicenter of the creative people who originally made hip-hop: b-boys, djs, mcs, & GRAPH WRITERS

seattle has hip-hop too...
6
Jen, you're embarrassing yourself.

I trip over more interesting art in a New York block than Seattle produces in a year.
7
Sure @6, but here we call that "garbage waiting to be picked up"...
8
@6: Did I say anything that contradicts that? I said there is nothing to say.
9
I moved from Portland to attend the School of Visual Arts in NYC to study comics & illustration. I love my school and the opportunities I've had to work under some amazing teachers (including Tom Hart, who used to live in Seattle) and grow as an artist. Also I get to go to the motherfucking Met whenever I want.
10
@6 you should pick it up. Think about the other people.
11

There is more art on Kent Kangley Road then in Lower Manhattan and Capitol Hill Seattle.
12
Sorry, Jen @8, your silence is deafening.

Please return to your warmed-over anti-condo acrylic paintings at Vermillion.
13
@12 I think she tripped over them.
14
@8: That's what I was hoping you were saying by not saying anything.
15
Admittedly off-topic -

Ratatoskr, you have THE BEST avatar I have ever seen. Here OR in New Yawk. I enlarge it frequently just for the "squeee" factor.

:-D

@13:

No, I walked by there about an hour ago and they were all hanging on the walls where they were supposed to be...

Please wait...
