That's actually a very insightful question, Max. See, what they're doing is fine, but they're supposed to take all that money and use it to improve their quality of life. You know, by buying shit from other people. But they're not doing that. They're just sitting on the money and hoarding it, so it gets taken out of circulation. Thereby fucking up everybody else's economy. That's the reason behind their rise, but it will also be the reason behind their fall, because that's not sustainable.

Who is *they* in this scenario? The Chinese quality of life is improving dramatically. Better quality of life always means more goods and services purchased. If they fall, it'll be because they grew too rapidly and poured too much of their wealth into what's dragging the U.S. down: worthless plastic crap, McMansions, and SUVs.

Well, when you start from a baseline of zero, it doesn't take much to improve someone's quality of life. The truth, though, is that it's still pretty shitty by American standards, and is nowhere near commensurate with what it should be when you consider their GDP.

Capital is always there, that thing ever seeking new/more labor to exploit, the Industrialists and better Capitalist know that there is more money in exploiting the production end and merely fulfilling the loop by providing any little whim/thing to the consumer.
