I think the Chahullie blow look good next to the scrimshaw pocket knives that are currently vended below space needle.
2
I predict Seattle City Council will sell us out and "give" us a Chihulhy Museum, even though this amounts to privitizing PUBLIC PARK LAND for one man's ego.

But that's just based on their recent moves with the Billionaires Tunnel and other activities that show they think they work for the Billionaires and Millionaires and Property Developers, not the actual Citizens of Seattle.
3
Yay! One week until they pretend to consider all the options and then give us the Chihuly museum!
4
damned straight, @3.

Cause in Seattle, public process is just another way of saying the Elitists win while pretending to care what Seattle Citizens want.
5
@3, Personally, I'm rooting for a children's shooting range.
6
I don't know, they squirm too much.
7
No, I think allowing children to shoot at an early age is good - maybe we can give them some nice glass targets to aim at.
8
Well, I did enjoy hunting pheasants and quail with my dad when I was 7, so that is a compelling argument, COMTE.
9
I will bet they will suggest a package deal and try and sneak Chihuly in as by himself he is political suicide to support.

My prediction is they will put Chihuly by the monorail, KEXP by the Vera Project, Mystery museum in the pavilion and give the planned open space to the Native American cultural Center.

If nobody is aware, there is a totem pole at Seattle Center near the mural amphitheater and a statue of Chief Seattle on Denny right next to Seattle Center so yes we do recognize Chief Seattle.

Move MOHAI to the Seattle Center. Everyone wins!
11
If MOHAI were to close their doors forever, sadly I don't think anybody would notice. They are the most boring museum in the Northwest.

I've never heard any tourist say "I must visit MOHAI !" Sigh...

Long live HistoryLink.
