I wonder if he ever smacked Dean Martin in the mouth for being a self-destructive drunk. But no, I guess his behavior was ok because he knew who Al Jolsen was.

@3 Agreed on that. I actually dislike him intently for several reasons.

I know he is helping with his telethon, but I work with plenty of people who are disgusted by his unconscious patronizing attitude.

That and he isn't funny.

He isn't currently funny but the Buddy Love segments in "The Nutty Professor" are great, for example. And he's also great in "The King Of Comedy" in a dramatic role.

I'm no Jerry Lewis fan, but I gotta give him a pass on this . . . Lindsay and Paris should be spanked. Jail apparently hasn't cured their bratty behavior.

If he'd left off the parts about smacking and spanking, he would have been dead on about everything. Of course, then this clip would never have seen the light of day, either.
