I can't believe you suckered me into watching your clip again! Evil!
2
Moore always does that.

If the Democrats ever listened to him, they would never win an election.

HORRID.

My mind fell instantly into a numbing stupor as soon as his jive babble started babbling -- he essentially just quoted cliches and meaningless data-spew; add to that his blue polyster shirt with ill-fitting suit and I was forced to the edge of psychological trauma, my only recourse being another bong hit.

right, it's come to me. Plouf and I were at the same Tony Robbins seminar. Such idiots we were. At least he's putting his skills to work, can't say much for myself. I M NLP. I M NLP. I M NLP.

The T.A.R.P. funds are going to be fully repaid and may even make the government money! Trumpet this from every corner of the country: Obama was right!!!
6
@5: TARP predated the Obama administration
7
If the plan doesn't include lowering unemployment by 4%-5% by November, they're screwed. It may not be fair, but Democrats, by virtue of being in charge right now, own this economy.

How did we get here?

Well, "we" elected a distressingly weak executive and a Congress full of self-satisfied dithering windbags too fearful of upsetting the opposition to get one damn thing done.

Laugh at Moore if you want, but his plan sounds a hell of a lot better than anything I've heard out of the White House or Congress lately. The WPA idea in particular is something I've been calling for for years.

But yeah, I hate that Plouffe guy.

Michael Moore makes some good points in some of his movies, but as far as election strategy goes, he's an idiot.

I am not dispirited in the slightest. But if the Republicans win, it will only be because stupidity has no party affiliation.

@8,

Not one damn thing. Hilarious!

@6 - Yes, but that doesn't stop Republicans from blaming Democrats for the "bailout of Wall Street." Just look at any Dino Rossi ad.

I agree with @5 - they need to tell this story better. They can turn their biggest negative into a positive. Step one: pull
David Plouffe from the media tour. I heard him on Diane Rehm - he comes off as a douchey spin-doctor.

There's a fair argument to be made that anger = enthusiasm. Let's face it, the Teabaggers/Republicans are completely freaked out that a black man who is not committed to turning the entire country over to the wealthiest 1% is President. The rest of us, not so much. Many of us are actually quite content with the progress the Obama Administration has made in the last 18 months, and Americans who are happy tend not to vote.

Please wait...
