stonehenge 2 is not really part of the museum. i dont think. and the glassy expansion is totally inconsistent with the weight of everything else there.
The Museum does indeed own the Stonehenge monument. I know, because I tried to stage THE TEN THOUSAND THINGS there and the said, "Nope, only one play a year and that play will be written by Shakespeare."
That said, it is an awesome museum and completely worth the weird journey that will take you there.
I used to love it dearly, but the last time I was there it seemed to have changed drastically for the worse. I hope by now at least they've turned on a few brain cells and figured out to place their amazing art-glass collection under full-spectrum lighting; I've always felt incredibly lucky to have viewed years ago when it was temporarily relocated into natural lighting.
