isreal is under attack. Jews aregods chosenwhich means that they have been persecuted for eons. Rememeber the holocaust? For you to make light of the terror they live with is EXTREMELY anti-semetic.

why don't you watch Schindlers list again,JEW HATER! Get an understanding of how under threat we JEWS are!

my great uncle has death camp tatoo's on his arm. NEVER FORGET!

I hope you do the decent thing and pull your post DEFAMING Isreal and Jewish people worldwide, less you be labeled in the same camp as other antisemites.

'Jews (Christians, Muslims, Mormons, Rashneeshis, Americans, whateva!) are gods chosen...'

@1 -- Therein lies the problem.

I'd think a truly proud Jew would learn how to spell Israel.

Re: 9th District.

538 has it going from a 99.7% chance of a Smith win to 94.7%.

Hardly within "striking distance".

@1: I cannot believe I'm the same religion as you. Whatever happened to treating strangers with compassion? After all, we were once strangers in a strange land.
Actually, I wonder if you're just Alleged pretending to be an MOT.

@3: Zing.

NYT today has more on their story I linked to in yesterday's comments:
Their lives intersected last weekend in what city officials described on Saturday as the worst antigay attack in recent memory. It happened in an abandoned building in the Morris Heights section that neighbors said had been virtually taken over in recent months by youths who used it for wild parties and sex.

The authorities say nine young men who called themselves the Latin King Goonies lured the gay man to the building with the promise of a party and tortured him and the two 17-year-olds they suspected of having sex with him, subjecting them to beatings that went on for hours, gruesome sexual attacks with a small baseball bat and the wooden handle of a toilet plunger, and cigarette burns on the genitals of the older man.

I'd add that "Arab" is not a religion, and is certainly not synonymous with "Muslim." There are Arab Jews, for example, so saying that "Arabs form 20% of Israel's population" doesn't really tell us anything. That said, poor form, Israel. Loyalty oaths aren't terribly democratic in the first place.

Where is the pride? If history proves anything, it's that without it, we pay too high a price. I WILLNOT be compassionate to the people who kill my bretheren, support killing my people, or who doubt the rightousness of Israel and her actions.

we have a word for people like you: Self Loathing Jew....

Jewish democracy=Racist Theocracy

Folks, if posts #1 and #8 don't trip your trolldar, you need to upgrade to a newer model, one that incorporates "false flag" detection.

Muri's message is simple.

"Anybody but Smith", said Muri, 56, who has served as a Pierce County councilman for seven years.

You can't accuse the guy of egotism.

"...the release of Windows Phone 7 on Wednesday..."

Isn't the release/laughfest tomorrow (Monday)?

@8: I'll bite.
You're confusing "pride" with "fascism" here. And doubt is the seed of learning, while blind acceptance is the seed of ignorance. When Moshe saw the burning bush, he did not simply accept that the bush was burning; he looked further, and questioned why the flames did not consume it. And thus he was called to prophecy, because he cared to question his surroundings. If we categorically refuse to doubt our righteousness, we become arrogant and corrupt.
It is foul and unjust to punish an entire people for the crimes of a few. Remember the old stories? God was ready to spare Sodom and Gomorrah, the epitomes of corruption, if Avraham could find but ten righteous people among all of them.
And no, I don't loathe myself. I loathe those who seek to oppress others and still claim some sort of brotherhood with me.

TL;DR: Israel AND Palestine are run by raging douchenozzles.

@ 12 -- Good point. Fixed.

damn seems by now everyone would realize that homosexuals are the chosen; gentle, loving, non-violent, awesome parents, open minded, trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty,
brave, clean, and reverent; and especially physically strong,
mentally awake, and morally straight.....
