But Comrade Rossi wrote in all the tax exemptions for firms to outsource jobs overseas.

Got to give him that.

Where's your Truth Needle now, Mr. Blethen?

The depressing part is that future budgets from Democratic governors will be just as Republican as Locke's. Thanks for the memories.

this kind of reminds me of how Richert's one big accomplishment is always listed as "catching the green river killer." I don't know how putting the guy in jail 20 or more years after his last murder when he was on the suspect list from the get-go is considered a major accomplishment but it seems to have gotten him into office and kept him there for a long time. Grrrrrr

@4 is correct.

Reichert bankrupted our County.

Never forget that.

That's what he did when he had a whole brain.

@4,

You jumped the gun on my next MythBuster post!

@6 I was just reading the SLOG & saw your story on Reichert. So glad to be backed up on that by someone much more eloquent. Thanks for getting the word out.

So...Rossi is now NOT responsible for the budget. Does that mean Murray's campaign ads lie when they accuse Rossi of removing thousands of needy kids from health care (and similar accusations?).

Which is it? Either he is responsible for the budget, and all the imagined horrible things that went with it, or he isn't.

How about the truth? A governor can suggest all he wants. All governors want balanced budgets. News? Puhlease. Rossi got it done, working with both sides of the aisle.

Furthermore, he did not cut the needy out any more than any budget anywhere does so. You cannot pay for everything in your dreams with other people's money or your own money. Sorry, liberal dreamers, balanced budgets NEVER include everything we would like them to.

Please wait...
