So, are these "activists", who seem more like "deactivists" to me, going to go after old projects retroactively? Because there's PLENTY of hideous buildings from the 90s, 80, 70s and 60s you could criticize even more resoundingly than the handful of unsightly four-packs that got built in the last decade. Boo hoo, am I right?

It's either build up or build out and density is greener. Everyone wants green, except on their street.

Anyone ever looked at all those old buildings in Pioneer Square?

Ewwww.

The "auto-court town homes" you describe in the first paragraph are possibly the ugliest, most unfriendly style of residential architecture ever conceived. I can't think of something worse.

I want to own a townhouse in one of those much-maligned 4-packs some day, when I can afford to stop renting.

A garage workshop, and a patch of dirt all my own. I can paint and carve up the fence any damn tacky way I please, too.

I'm sad that they're trying to kill these things.

A garage workshop, Lack, because there is no way on God's green earth you can maneuver a car into it, except perhaps a Smart car with effort. If the City didn't fix this messed up part of the Code, then shame on them.

Please wait...
