Heavey = easy-going, reasonably competent dude I would enjoy having a beer with and bullshitting about the Mariners.
Fitzgibbon = More qualified on paper, but a twerp I would likely punch in the throat if stuck in a one-on-one situation with for more than 30 minutes ... maybe five if policy and politics are verboten subjects.

@3 nah, they're both ok guys to have a few drinks with. I speak from personal experience.

I love how elections make people magnify minute differences and mud sling like crazy.
