I took a class from Erik! He's pretty rad.

For the record, it was a class discussing the effect of James Bond on society and pop culture.

Actually, we were promised slates like the iPad at the '63 and '67 Worlds Fairs.

And, as they showed, you can use iSkype or iFace to make them show the people you're talking to on them.

Pretty on target.

Ah, Will. There was no World's Fair in 1963.

And while the World's Fairs of 1962, 1964, and 1967 did indeed feature much futuristic technological gadgetry, nothing presented there much resembled the iPad.

@3 all I know is whichever world's fair they broadcast on TV that was in NY. But then Westerners like you wouldn't have seen that, cause you were all using telegraphs.

the one in Montreal was '67. and it did have have slate "books" that would be electronic, in the actual displays. Not that you went to any of those. You were probably too busy playing tinkertoys in the Bubbleator.
