Would ANYBODY miss USA Today? Only time I've ever read it is when it was force-fed at shitty hotels. Pissed me off when they actually added it to the bill, citing some invisible opt-out language in the check-in procedure.
And US News has been a joke for years, especially the "America's 150 Best Proctologists" issues.
That rag has been dying for ages. They've slowly cheapened it in order to squeeze what they can out of it before it inevitably dies completely. This is just the latest step toward oblivion for them.

The Week is prolly the best of the genre right now, though it has numerous quirks that drive me crazy.
