One of my first jobs was at a Dairy Queen in Minnesota. Since it was one that had a grill and kitchen, it was open year-round. I always found it strange when people would come in out of the 20-below-zero weather and order ice cream cones and milkshakes. They would be literally shivering in their winter coats, asking for the largest, coldest treat they could get.

Can I call bullshit on companies asking people to "like" them on Facebook before they give you stuff?
