Better put a fence around it!

Successfully jumped to his death?
3
So if he'd lived you would have written "unsuccessfully jumped to his death" rather than "jumped and is in critical condition" or some-such?
4
I think what's really distracting is that you don't get to "death" until the end of the sentence. So as I was reading, I was thinking that maybe a man had successfully jumped to another building, had landed and been uninjured, etc. Usually, death doesn't equal success.
5
Depends on your objectives @4.
6
You'd think after the other jumper, (who was unsuccessful) they would have taken measures to prevent this.

"I wish you would step back from that ledge my friend. Cut ties from all the lies that you've been living in."
7
Wait, wasn't there a young woman who almost jumped off the courthouse roof a little while back? Maybe not the best place to allow unfettered roof access.
8
Splat.
9
I hear the roof has access, @8 - go for it.
10
Is it that easy to get on the roof of that goddamn building?
11
Probably some poor, sad, lost soul.
Rest in peace that you could not find while on this mortal coil.

Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
It will get better, no matter what it is. Don't give up before your miracle happens.
12
Obviously we need to tunnel under the courthouse.
13
They broke a window on the 10th floor and jumped. Not much you can do to prevent that.
14
"Successfully"? What the fuck.
15
Just looked at the photo of the broken window posted at The Seattle Times - not a very big hole there to squeeze through. Obviously, a very determined jumper who intended to die at that moment, and did so "successfully".
16
he was in work release had 30 days to go on his sentence, but he was a mental health pt who did not have access to his medication. what do you think will happen if you dont take your meds for a few months?
17
Talk about defining success downward.

Real classy group here on the stranger. George was loved by many. He was a standout soccer player-- one of the best in the country at a young age. He was getting his life back on track, recently accepted to UW for the spring. He had his demons and unfortunately he'll never live on to reach his potential.

I have no idea what's wrong with you people to make a joke out of this. How pathetic are your lives that you resort to cracking stupid ass jokes on an internet blog to entertain yourselves?? Thank God his parents wouldn't read any of this crap.
19
you know all these SMUG little SLOG comments are somewhat "funny" to read until it hits close to home. Seriously when it comes to another life, think a bit more before you write meaningless BULLSHIT

Please wait...
