This is such a travesty of Justice, LaRosa was subject to a DVRO (Domestic Violence Restraining Order) and was attending Sound Mental Health's Domestic Violence Perpetrator Treatment, which is nothing more than "snake oil" and staff are nothing more than social workers, A SOCIAL WORKER HAS NO BUSINESS TREATING A PARONOID SCHIZOPHRENIC, according to Doug Bartholomew a well known Bellevue DVPT provider these "programs have a 66% recidivism rate within the first 12 months (the programs are 12 months long!) and nearly 100% within 5 years" in other words they fail and that is not counting the malpractice of a common social worker providing any type of treatment to a man like LaRosa.

I feel so much pain for the families of the victims here, and I am sure the lawyers will be coming out of the woodwork to sue, and plenty of blame to go around, SMH, KingCO Courts, KCPAO, and my favorite abuser the DSHS. This problem is as much with the system as it is with LaRosa.

DSHS supervises these DVPT programs and they have failed, dead people and injured people like the victim of Gary Ruffcorn, another successful graduate of Doug Bartholomew's so called treatment only months before he sent his girlfriend to the hospital, so brutal was this attack David Martin KingCo PAO DV that he called Ruffcorn the "poster child" for DV sentence reform, google his name and you can see some horrific pictures of this assault. Doug says "Gary did everything he was supposed to...I going to do a lot of soul searching on this one" the ciminals here are men like Doug Bartholomew, BTW Doug's ex wife filed and was granted a Domestic Violence Protection Order against him in 2003 and he is providing DV Treatment.

I can only hope when the lawyers sue the judgement is so high that the system changes.
