This video and Tim's Christmas song really brightened my day. Thank you, Dan.

I have to wonder--has anyone considered that Tim might be the Maitreya? Seems a much likelier candidate than that economist fellow the New Yorker wrote about.

Me too, Canuck @ 14. Especially, when the guy owns it. And, Mr. Minchin's eyes look great in person (I don't know him, but we were two gingers and one very tall guy working our way through an interactive exhibit at the Tate Modern in 2008).

@8 that's actually a part of his look. The whole poofy hair, eyeliner, tights and bare feet is a thing he started as a sort of mocking of the fake "I'm so different" looks of pop/rock stars, and now it's his "I'm no different" look. I always think he must be freezing in bare feet.
