That same night at Town Hall, Wendell Potter will read from Deadly Spin, a book about how the health care industry is spending our health care premiums on lobbying.

Wowee, that's the guy who spent all those years at CIGNA and earning big bucks before he suddenly discovers morals and ethics and wonders why they are so unethical, amoral and evil?

Well, perhaps you'll pay more attention to Chris Hedges who, along with some of us others, bothers to read the frigging legislation and understands that the health insurance and pharmaceutical industries wrote the frigging legislation, which is why it is primarily a $400 billion bailout to those industries.

Ted Chiang is one awesome SF writer, though!
